BikeGlenlivet's new pump track provides exciting diversion

A new 'pump track' at the Glenlivet bike trails has opened. The compact 75 metre cycling track includes numerous jumps, bumps and berms to allow riders to hone their riding skills. The track sits beside the café and provides another option for younger riders.

Lochmaddy marine leisure facilities opened by HRH The Princess Royal

HRH The Princess Royal visited marine facilities at Lochmaddy, North Uist, today following completion of a £414,000 refurbishment funded by The Crown Estate.
The project, managed by Comann na Mara, included construction of pontoons with 26 berths and floating walkways, installation of lighting and electricity, and creation of a car and bus park.
