The Crown Estate welcomes Google back to the West End for a pop-up at 55 Regent Street
This pop-up experience, opening on 19 May, will showcase the incredible functions of the new Google Pixel 6 phone. Bringing the ‘Magic Eraser’ function to life, which removes all unwanted photo bombers and stray rubbish bins from images, through installations in a playful space.
This follows a number of other iconic retail brands recently opened, or planning to open on Regent Street. This includes UNIQLO and Theory’s first joint store in Europe - which has a strong sustainability focus with the retailer’s first repair studio, and Aesop – who are transforming the basement into treatment rooms. These are both great examples of brands combining traditional retail with space for services you can’t buy online.
55 Regent Street was previously home to the successful immersive Green Planet experience, which brought the natural world to life through a unique augmented reality experience.
Leanne Catterall, Customer Partnership Director for London and Regional at The Crown Estate, said:
“Regent Street continues to be the go-to destination for iconic retail brands to create new experiences for their customers.
“We want to create a hub for unique activations in the West End, bringing retail to life and providing our residents and visitors with a truly magical and diverse offer.”
