Delivering research and evidence projects

Working alongside our customers and stakeholders, we lead and fund programmes that not only identify and address evidence gaps, but also challenge the status quo and drive positive change.

We create, invest in, and deliver critical data and evidence programmes. Some of our early initiatives include the Collaborative Offshore Wind Research into the Environment programme, the Marine Aggregates Levy Sustainability Fund and Regional Seabed Monitoring Programme.

As the need for ever better evidence grows exponentially, we are committed to finance more collaborative and innovative survey work and evidence-based programmes, the latest being the Offshore Wind Evidence and Change programme.

Outputs from these programmes have driven industry best practice, provided evidence base to better understand engineering and consenting challenges, as well as developmental and environmental challenges. And importantly, these programmes facilitate collaborations between academia, Government, industry and environmental groups to come up with positive solutions together.
